💬Chat Tracker

The Chat Rewards system allows server administrators to incentivize community engagement by rewarding members for active participation in designated channels. This feature helps boost conversation and activity in specific channels.

How It Works

1. Send messages in designated reward channels

2. Earn points automatically for each qualifying message

3. Points are added to your checking balance immediately

4. Messages must meet these criteria:

   • Must be in a designated reward channel

   • Must meet the minimum character requirement

   • Must not be within the cooldown period

   • Must not be from a bot

Important Notes

• Only messages in designated channels count for rewards

• Bot messages are not counted

• Messages must be longer than the minimum character requirement

• There's a cooldown period between rewards for each user

• The system automatically tracks and updates your balance

Server Admin Setup

Server administrators can manage chat reward channels and configuration using these commands:

Add a Channel

/chat add-channel <channel>

• Adds a channel where users can earn points for chatting

• Maximum channels allowed:

  • Free package: 1 channel

  • Enterprise package: 5 channels

• Bot must have "Read Messages" permission in the channel

Remove a Channel

/chat remove-channel

• Opens a dropdown menu to select which channel to remove from chat rewards

• Shows all currently configured channels

Set Reward Amount

/chat reward-per-message <amount>

• Sets points awarded for each qualifying message

• Range: 0 to 1,000 points

• Note: Only available in Pro and Enterprise packages

• Free package users cannot modify this setting

Set Cooldown

/chat cooldown-per-user <seconds>

• Sets the minimum time between rewards for each user

• Range: 10 to 1,000 seconds

• Note: Only available in Pro and Enterprise packages

• Free package users cannot modify this setting

Set Minimum Characters

/chat minimum-characters <number>

• Sets the minimum number of characters required for a message to qualify for rewards

• Range: 2 to 1,000 characters

• Note: Only available in Pro and Enterprise packages

• Free package users cannot modify this setting

View Current Configuration

/chat view-config

Displays:

• Currently enabled channels

• Reward amount per message

• Cooldown per user (in seconds)

• Minimum characters required

• Package type restrictions

For Community Members

Community member can just chat in enabled channels to earn points.
